About:

Kangaroo Minds is a movement which is dedicated to spreading awareness, providing support and enhancing knowledge around Mental Health and wellbeing.

Our focus remains on combining knowledge and domain expertise to create awareness about Mental Health, help to beat the prevailing misinformation and stigma associated with Mental Health and Mental Illness, & in providing support and resources for Mental Health.

While there is a lot of talk in terms of the Care and Funding Gap in this space, we have found that the Mental Health space today is facing an Awareness Gap, a Support Gap & a Knowledge Gap - and through our proprietary A.S.K. model, we aim to bridge just that.

We seek to be a trusted provider of solutions for individuals seeking help or guidance in understanding Mental Health, managing their emotional well-being and life goals through integrated solutions both online and offline through our training programs, workshops, life coaching sessions and other initiativesall which are in line with our A.S.K. model.

Our efforts to promote, spread awareness and educate individuals about Mental Health and well-being is also in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal #3

Approach - The A.S.K. Model:

We have developed our A.S.K. model which is at the core of all that we do. This model focuses on creating a safe and judgement free environment around Mental Health, encouraging conversations around Mental Health, Wellbeing and Self-Care & empowering people to A.S.K.

There are 3 elements of the A.S.K. Model -

  • Spreading Awareness to break the stigma and help individuals to prioritise their Mental Health and Wellbeing.

  • Providing individuals with the Support and guidance to help them thrive.

  • Creating and enhancing opportunities for Knowledge enhancement in the space of Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Some of the benefits of our A.S.K. Model include:

  • Building a network of qualified professionals.

  • Encouraging non-judgemental conversations.

  • Building safe spaces to encourage help-seeking.

  • Nurturing skills to assist others.

  • Enhancing Mental Health literacy.

  • Broadening the conversations around Mental Health and Wellbeing.

  • Reducing the stigma and taboo around Mental Health.

  • Sensitizing and de-stigmatizing Mental Health and the conversations around it.

  • Providing reliable resources and information.

  • Fostering positive attitudes towards Mental Health and Wellbeing.

  • Improving access to professional services.
